Even if your technique borrows from others that can be found all over the web, if you made a tutorial that puts them all together, and under the same context, I think it could really inspire a bunch of new content-creators and grow the genre.
I’m not sure whether or not it’s flawless. I certainly see the issues when I look at it. But I can say that I was reasonably proud of how it turned out. Believe it or not, the biggest difference is finding good source photos that match one another (in lighting, mostly). Once that’s out of the way, it’s not that hard.
